Color of the Year

Do you like Radiant Orchid but seems too extreme for you? Thanks to a few of our favorite blogs and of course, Pinterest, we have come up with a few ways you can use the 2014 Color Of The Year without feeling overwhelmed.

1. Paint an entire wall… Of course we are suggesting painting a small wall, such as the end of the hallway. If the thought of painting your walls anything other than a neutral color makes you break out in sweat, don’t worry, you can use Radiant Orchid in accessories and accents.
2. A canvas painting with hues of radiant orchid adds detail and a pop of color to any room.
3. Bedding is also a great way to use this dazzling color. Replace your coverlet with one that has shades of radiant orchid or accent with a simple throw or different shades of purple pillows.

4. Play it safe by placing orchids on a simple white table to brighten up a room.
5. Schumacher has many fabrics in shades of purple and trendy designs. These fabrics can be used many different ways, draperies, pillows, upholstery…you name it!
6. The LEE Industries chair featured below is covered in a gorgeous Stonewash Berlin Plumfrost slipcover. This chair will accent any room beautifully.

Color of the Year 2

Radiant Orchid compliments dark greens, and pairs beautifully with turquoise, teal, and light yellows. This energetic color also livens up neutrals such as gray, beige, and taupe. Radiant Orchid is sure to brighten up any room!
