This antique Charles II Carved Oak Coffer / Chest / Trunk, circa 1670 offers both functional storage and timeless appeal. Crafted from oak, this chest showcases detailed carving and a beautifully aged wood finish that highlights the natural grain. The chest features a three-panel front, intricately carved with flowers, leaves and adornments, with a stunning patina. The left-hand side has a hand-forged iron handle. The top of the chest is fastened with beautiful iron strap hinges, opening to a large open interior with small original candle boxes on either side. 

With practical storage and antique character, this piece can be placed at the foot of a bed, in a hallway, or in a living room.
