Crafted in England, circa 1890, this antique writing table stands on thick carved barley twist legs ending with turned feet and connected with an elegant stretcher at the base.
The table is fitted with two drawers across the front and adorned with simple, turned knobs. Both drawers are constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints. The rectangular top is embellished with molding edges around the perimeter. The Louis XIII style desk is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. The table with large working surface area would make a wonderful addition to a study, next to a fireplace or as a bedside table.
